Best tacos in Mexico City?

We are BACK with yet another week of T.O. hooking you up with hand-picked A+ travel experiences near and far.

I’ve been doing some thinking about this newsletter and one of the things I’m really doing here is building my bucket list to help you build yours. I’d love to get some feedback from my early adopters regarding what you get the most value or enjoyment from in this newsletter. Reply to let me know!

Let’s start things off with a little poll to get the juices flowing. I assure you, there are no right answers, but without naming names, there are definitely two wrong answers…

Here’s what’s on your travel plan for today:

A hotel for explorers in Portugal

Best tacos in Mexico City?

A snowy experience in Norway

A company that does the points hacking for you

Stay

This may just be the best hotel that I have ever personally stayed at - that’s right I said it. This absolute stunner of a property sits right in the heart of Lisbon - a couple blocks away from the main drag and the Santa Justa Lift. Stellar hospitality, all the way through. We felt taken care of as if we were the only ones there. Another example of a Marriott hotel that gives that boutique feeling, and another excellent use of points if you’ve got them.

Hidden behind the lobby’s large, dark wood doors, sits one of the most beautifully designed bars, let alone hotel bars, that I’ve experienced. A truly lovely place to stay if you’re looking to spend time in Lisbon.

Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

Tacos Don Juan, Mexico City

You’ll have to excuse the picture. While I’d love to be presenting you with three gorgeously displayed tacos, in this family, phones do NOT eat first. I do 🤗.

I write this knowing that it is REMARKABLY hard to miss when it comes to tacos in Mexico City. The city is known for street tacos. And there’s always a chance you find the best tacos you’ve ever eaten just around the corner. However, Tacos Don Juan, in La Condesa, really does a bang-up job. The menu can change depending on the day, but honestly, anything you get will be a certified slapper. Plus, it is a gorgeous neighborhood to explore!

Experience

For anyone looking for another unconventional activity to add to their bucket list, I give you snow rafting! What is snow rafting you ask? Great question— essentially snow tubing on steroids. Check out the video below since words just don’t do it justice. 👇

Carry On

Any lovers of outsourcing out there—check out Trevor’s company. Always wanted to win the credit card game but far too lazy to do the work? Aren’t we all? Just have Mile Method do it for you! Promising 1 million miles/points for almost free (not counting the program fee), Mile Method will do the credit card hacking for you. It does cost a significant chunk of change to have them set you up, but the value still far exceeds the cost.
